About

The year I turned thirty three, I accepted salvation in Christ.  From that time on I dedicated my life to following Christ and to answering the call of the great commission in Matthew 28:18-20.  With a curiosity for other cultures, a desire to travel, and the blessing of a pilot’s license I began working toward becoming a missionary pilot in the Spring of 2010.  I have since taught Bible studies and helped build a house in Ghana West Africa, stared longingly down a runway in Togo Africa, taught Sunday school at Iglesia Bautista Biblica in Grand Rapids, Michigan, received an Intercultural Ministry degree from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, and helped repair buildings in the Dominican Republic.

Each day I pray that the Lord will help me serve those around me and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.  And each day I ask where he is sending me next, so that I might never grow complacent in the routine, but always be ready to go where the Lord is leading me if it is time to move.

Who knew we would end up in seminary at the same time pursuing our Masters Degrees? Hmmm…I guess SOMEONE did since He’s the One who called us to it. From our little homes in somewhere, Indiana to lands we never dreamed we would see. We are blessed, my dear nephew, we are blessed indeed!!! Love you and I’m so proud of you. Maybe one day you and I will fly into a little village somewhere and share the love of God we have been given!
